Play Instrument

This is a separate skill for each instrument. If you try to play a similar instrument (knowing a violin will help you play the cello or viola) you must take some extra time to practice and have a penalty for the final performance. The penalty may be higher if the instrument is exotically different from your original training. Some various categories for related instruments are: piano, strings, brass, woodwind, percussion, etc.

• Performances are at +1 Quality (regardless of limit.)
• You can read sheet music while playing without penalty to your skill. You can reproduce by ear easily.
• You can save a skill roll made during practice and use it for the performance.
Expert Performance
• You have +X Charm for the scene after a performance.
• The music itself has an X*2 Charm on each member of the audience.
• Avid listeners have an X*5% chance to regain a point of Chakra after a long session.
