In Search of the Perfect Ham Sandwich
Make certain that the tomato you choose is a bright red and firm. Tomatoes on the vine last longer in storage if you're
worried about not being able to finish them all in a set time.
The onion choice is really one of preference here. You can choose a sharp red onion or a softer yellow onion. This is really
a matter of taste. I was concerned with the bitter nature of both the mustard and the swiss and decided that the
sandwich would need a little more help to cut through my tastebuds. I therefore chose the yellow onion.
Nothing beats fresh lettuce to add a presentatory sparkle to the final product.
