This quote comes directly from a song about World War 2. In it, a dying man dreams about how life will be for the people who survive. His dream is of a world where everyone is safe, happy, and free to speak their mind. X and Zero survived the war, but the world they live in now is less than accomodating to their kind. Still, remembering Alia and the dreams of all those who died encourage them to persevere. It encourages them to hold onto that old dream.

Summary

X recovers, the events of episode 3 clearly affecting his state of mind. How the flashbacks are related to the main story are not explained as X refuses to dwell on the memories. Zero and X get into a discussion about old friends and Anyi takes a look around the plane. The two androids decide to hold a sparring match to pass the time; X is accidentally hurt but Anyi is able to repair the wound. When the jet finally lands in Antarctica, it is time for them all to step forward. The digsite is ready and the past stands before them. Dr. Caine's last discovery was that of Dr. Light's secret laboratory. It is time to uncover the past.

Douglas is a character from the Megaman X series. The poppy is traditionally a symbol to remember those lost in wars.
