Monday, July 24th, 2000: Monday Night Mutilation Card #14 - Match #1 Limousine Driver Vs. DAND Author: Ryan Hill (SuperBeast) [Writer] Match: Hardcore w/ Electrified, Barbwire Fence Rules: First to climb out of the cage wins. Titles: None Commentators: Iaian McBride, James Colburn. _____________________________________________________________ (The HDW intro music blasts out of the speakers. Old clips of matches are shown on the Havoc Viewscreen. The crowd is screaming and cheering louder than the music. The clips end with the HDW initials in stone and blood. The camera turns to McBride and Colburn, who are sitting at the announcer's table.) McBride: Welcome to another day of blood, mayhem, and chaos in the Havoc Dominion. Colburn: YEAH! Let's see some blood! McBride: My God! We haven't even started and you're already crazed out of your mind with thoughts of blood! Colburn: Is there a problem with that? McBride: How do you sleep at night? Colburn: On my side. Why are you asking me such personal questions? You better not be hitting on me. McBride: The only time I would hit on you is when I have a bat and some barbwire to wrap it around on. Colburn: Why don't you try it now? McBride: Cause you'd just go nuts seeing your own blood spilling all over the floor. Colburn: ...You're right! *laughs* McBride: Oh shut up, old man. Give us a review of last week. Colburn: Not a lot happened. It was only SuperBeast and Slash in a dark forest. McBride: Not a bad match, though. Those two certainly act like animals, kind of like you when you see a little blood on the floor. Colburn: Damn right. Those two certainly are made for the wilderness. I'd like to see a match like that some time soon. McBride: Same here. We need arenas like that. Something with numerous obstacles and traps, not just the ring and turnbuckles. Colburn: You know, tonight, we're going to have a whole bunch of different arenas, including the old one...with a twist. (The Havoc Viewscreen flickers to life, and we see Gothic in his usual business suit. He looks at the crowd, who is cheering.) Gothic: Well, tonight will certainly be a busy night. We have four matches, and one of them is going to take place in the ring you see in the centre. (The crowd looks at the ring. The ropes are replaced with barbwire and the turnbuckles are also wrapped in barbwire. Along the edge are metal spikes that point up and towards the ring. The crowd looks up and sees a large barbwire fence lowering around the ring. The fence appears to be at least fifteen feet tall and the area appears to be twice the amount of the area of the ring. The fence stops at about seven feet from the ground. Gothic gives out a little chuckle.) Gothic: Okay. Now before we lower it, let's get our wrestlers out here. First off, the man who is the king of destruction, DAND! (The lights dim and electricity arches under the stage. "American Badass" by Kid Rock blasts out of the speakers along with explosion-type fireworks, but the crowd's cheers are much louder. DAND drives into the stage in his motorcycle with Samantha riding on the back. He drives up next to the ring and gets off. Samantha gets off and moves the bike out of the way. DAND walks around the ring and high fives the crowd. He then leaps into the ring and throws his sunglasses into the crowd. He walks to his side of the ring and prepares for the match.) McBride: I really like that entrance of his. All the fireworks, the music, the bike... Colburn: Nah. That red chick, Crimson, has the best entrance! And Gothic's entrance is great too! McBride: *sigh* Gothic, please kick this old man's @ss for me! Gothic: You do it. I have work to do. And now, the man who runs this show for our entertainment- Colburn: Yeah! Blood forever! Gothic: ...DON'T interrupt me again, or I'll take McBride's suggestion seriously. Colburn: ...Sorry. Gothic: Anyway, here he is, back to himself, Limousine Driver! (The lights dim once again and a spotlight shines upon the stage. "The River" plays over the speakers as a limousine drives up onto the stage. It continues towards the ring, but stops short. The driver's door opens and LD walks out with his original suit and tie. The passenger door opens and another man walks out and enters the driver's seat. LD walks down to the end and opens the far door on the driver's side. Alena walks out wearing a beautiful red dress, holding LD's hand. They walk down to the ring while the driver drives the limousine away. LD gives Alena a little kiss and climbs into the ring. Alena takes a seat outside the ring as LD gets ready for the match.) Gothic: Excellent! And now, for the final touches. (Gothic brings out a remote with two buttons. He presses the one on the left and the cage lowers to the ground. The corners are connected with metal clamps that snap shut. Gothic then presses the second button and an electric hum is heard. It slowly dies down, and the wrestlers are ready to fight.) Gothic: Alright! Have fun! (The bell rings three times and the match is underway. DAND charges towards LD with his fists clenched. DAND throws a left, but LD blocks it. DAND doesn't hesitate and throws his right. LD parries again and backs away from DAND. DAND moves forward and throws a roundhouse, but LD backs his head away with the kick missing him by millimetres. DAND gets a little impatient and charges head on. LD takes the blow in surprise and falls to the ground. DAND gets up to stomp him, but LD rolls away and flips on to his feet. LD charges and hits DAND with a thrust side kick to the gut. LD goes for a knee, but DAND blocks it with both his hands. DAND then wraps his arms around LD's leg and swings him towards the barbwire ropes. However, LD falls short from them, but DAND charges. LD leaps back up and hits DAND with a leaping uppercut to the chin. DAND is slightly phased, but he gets out of it quickly and parries LD's cross to DAND's chest. LD throws a backfist towards DAND's face, but DAND grabs it and locks his wrist. LD turns his back towards DAND, but he throws a back kick to DAND's groin. DAND looses the wrist lock and covers his groin while groaning in pain. LD throws a hook to the face, then moves in for an elbow to the jaw, and finger jabs DAND in the throat. DAND throws a fist towards LD's groin, and LD is now down in pain. Both men manage to pass through the pain and get ready to fight again.) Colburn: This isn't very interesting so far. McBride: I just can't believe that they're going through this pain. Colburn: Let's turn on the mics and see if they'll say anything. (In the ring) LD: Let's not do that again for the rest of the match. What do you say? DAND: Fine by me. (LD moves in and throws a cross, but DAND tilts his head to avoid it. LD throws in a palm towards DAND's chest. DAND is forced back by the blow, but he coughs it off. LD tries again, but DAND stops him with a roundhouse to the head. LD goes down, but immediately gets back up and runs at DAND with a knee towards his gut. LD then takes DAND down with a downward elbow on his spine. DAND gets up with one knee on the ground, trying to ignore the pain. LD doesn't delay and throws a flip kick to DAND's face. DAND flies off his feet and lands on the barbwire on his back. The blades cut open DAND's back. Blood slowly oozes out of the scrapes as DAND struggles to get up. LD waits on one side of the ring as DAND shakes off the pain and the dizziness in his head. He looks towards LD with focused eyes.) Colburn: Now it's getting interesting. McBride: ...I agree with you. Colburn: Just look at all the- McBride: Shut up! Colburn: Don't interrupt me like that again. (DAND charges and leaps into the air while throwing a thrust kick to LD's face. LD is forced against the ropes, which begin to scrape his suit and eventually to his back. LD tries to get up, but DAND keeps him down with kicks. The rope suddenly breaks off from one end from all the force coming from LD falling against it. LD grabs the centre of it and swings it across DAND's chest. DAND suddenly backs off in surprise and sees a scratch against his chest, which leaks slowly with blood. LD gets up with the back of his suit with a few blood stains. He then pulls the barbwire violently out of the turnbuckle and begins to swing it towards DAND's chest again. A few more scrapes are made on DAND, but DAND shrugs them off. LD goes for another swing, but DAND catches him off guard and throws a thrust kick to LD's chest. He then throws a palm to LD's sternum, and LD falls on his back near the edge. A spike stops him from hitting his back to the ground, but it goes through his shoulder. Blood sprays out of the wound as LD stands up again. DAND now has control over the barbwire and swings it towards LD. LD steps out of harm's way and tries to focus on DAND rather than the pain.) DAND: Well, this doesn't really seem fair. (LD takes two of the spikes and rips them from the floor. He looks at DAND with a grin.) LD: I think that'll even it out a bit. (LD charges and attempts to stab DAND. DAND backs away and manages to slash some of his suit on the front, but he doesn't draw out blood. LD manages to get a few scrapes on DAND's arms by swinging the pointed ends at DAND. Blood slowly leaks out from the wounds, but DAND doesn't seem to notice the pain being done to him. LD strikes again, but DAND manages to wrap the barbwire around one of LD's legs. With a yank, DAND trips LD to the ground. LD gets up with his pant's shredded on one side with a few cuts on his leg. DAND tries again, but LD roundhouses him to the gut and punctures his shoulder with one of the spikes. LD goes for the other one, but DAND hits him in the jaw with an elbow. LD flies away from DAND and hits the ground on his side. DAND tries to pull the spike from the shoulder, but blood threatens to pour out. DAND decides to leave it for the moment and focuses on LD.) McBride: My God! That spike is in deep! Colburn: PULL IT OUT! LET'S SEE THE BLOOD FLOW! (In the ring) DAND: The second I do that, I'll take the spike and stab you with it! (In the table) Colburn: ...Whoa! He's not happy. McBride: Just shut up and enjoy what you're seeing. (DAND then turns towards LD again and has the barbwire ready. His hands are covered with cuts and scratches from holding it too tightly. LD charges, but DAND whips the wire across his chest and up his face. A long, but shallow cut is made in LD's face, which just misses the eye. Blood floods the open wound and trickles across LD's neck and chest. LD ignores the wound and moves in again. DAND does it again, but amazingly, LD grabs it from the end! It suddenly becomes a tug-o-war and LD seems to have the advantage. Blood drips from both opponents' hands that are grabbing the wire. LD suddenly lets go and DAND falls on his back. He just misses the spikes, but he grabs a hold of one and rips it out. He throws it towards LD, but misses. DAND grabs another one, and he suddenly somersaults towards LD. DAND goes under LD's legs, turns around and stabs him in the back of the thigh. LD backs away from DAND, but blood oozes out of his leg. One side of his pants is soaking in blood, and LD can't seem to ignore the pain. DAND charges towards him and knocks LD towards the barbwire. The force from the blow snaps the barbwire from the turnbuckles, and both of them fall out of the ring. They both get up and keep a safe distance from each other.) McBride: They better watch that fence. Colburn: Who cares? More barbwire equals more scrapes and cuts, which equals- McBride: Don't say it! Colburn: BLOOD!! McBride: *smacks Colburn* Will you stop it already?! Colburn: ...I'll let that one go by, but if you do it again, I'll kill you. (LD swings the barbwire towards DAND, but DAND moves out of the way. LD moves forward and whips again, causing DAND to move further back. Eventually, DAND has his back against the fence. LD whips again, but DAND moves to the side. The barbwire becomes tangled in the fence. LD tries to pull it out, but he suddenly shakes violently. He does so for a few seconds, then stops and falls to the ground with the wire still in his hand. He gets up slowly on one knee, shivering slightly. DAND moves towards him with a spike ready, but LD wraps it around his leg and trips him. LD crawls away as DAND tries to untangle the wire around his leg. DAND then moves towards the other end and untangles it from there. With the free end, he wraps it around his leg and pursues LD. LD has another spike ready and watches DAND carefully. DAND throws his leg wrapped in the wire to LD's chest. LD's suit is completely ripped, showing LD's chest. DAND kicks again and red scratches are made. Blood covers LD's chest, but it doesn't seem to be a great loss of blood. DAND tries again, but LD grabs it and throws him against the fence. DAND gets up, but the wire is caught in the fence. He tries to free himself, but the electric shock kicks in and DAND vibrates violently to the ground. He tries to get up, but he's zapped once more.) McBride: Oh sh*t! This isn't good! Colburn: He's gonna die man! (LD sees the situation and attempts to help DAND. He begins untangling the wire from DAND's leg as quickly as possible. They both get a small jolt, but DAND is finally free. DAND rolls away from the fence and struggles to stand on his feet. LD also gets up and checks to see if DAND is okay.) LD: You alright? DAND: I've been better. C'mon, let's finish this. LD: Are you sure? DAND: Hell yeah! (LD shrugs and charges. DAND charges as well. They both crash at each other and fall to the ground. LD gets up, but DAND is struggling a little bit. LD kicks him hard on the side, but DAND manages to get up without knowing what hit him. LD gives him a funny look, but throws a cross to his face. DAND moves his head to the side and throws an uppercut to LD's jaw. LD backs away, but DAND moves in to throw a side kick. LD falls against the fence, which scrapes new wounds on his side. Luckily, he doesn't get shocked and manages to get on his feet quickly. DAND doesn't stop and throws a hook towards LD's face. LD ducks and swings an elbow upwards. He hits DAND square on the chin, but DAND snaps his head back, facing forward. LD then grabs him by both shoulders. DAND yells in pain as LD squeezes the one shoulder that still has the spike protruding through it. LD then bends him forward and hits his face with a knee. DAND backs off and collapses to the ground. LD waits to see if DAND gets up. DAND tries to, but he lies on his back and tries to catch his breath. LD takes a deep breath and attempts to climb over the fence.) Colburn: Damnit! It's over already? McBride: Tell me what was wrong with that match? Colburn: Nothing, really. I just wanted it to last a little more. McBride: I'll never hear the end of it, will I? (LD manages to get over halfway, but receives a large shock of electricity. He manages to hold on, but his hands are smoking and the blood surrounding his hands are all charred black. He shakes it off and continues to climb. DAND suddenly springs up and looks up to see LD getting away. He then takes the spike from his shoulder and rips it out. Blood pours out from his shoulder, but DAND manages to wince it off. With his body low to the ground, he leaps into the air and manages to reach the lower half of LD.) McBride: DUDE! How the hell did he jump that high? In the condition he's in? Colburn: Oooooo....so much blood! McBride: Do you ever think of anything else. Colburn: ... McBride: ...Oh boy. (DAND takes the spike that he ripped from his shoulder, and stabs it through LD's leg. The spike goes through LD's thigh, and LD clenches his jaw shut to ease the pain. DAND continues to hold on to the spike to dig it in a little deeper. However, the point touches the fence, and another charge goes through. DAND can't hold on and falls to the ground. He lies there and begins breathing in quickly. LD is holding on to the fence with one arm, but he manages to hold on. He takes his other arm and digs it in deep to get a good grip. He continues his climb and manages to reach the top. Slowly, he moves over to the side and drops to the ground. He lands on his feet, but he collapses from the impact. The bell rings three times again, and paramedics rush to the scene. The fence is lifted out and the paramedics attend to both LD and DAND.) McBride: Alex is the winner of the match! Colburn: Yeah, but he certainly doesn't look like a winner. McBride: Maybe so, but he's more of a winner than you will ever be. Colburn: That may be true. Man, I hope they'll be up soon so he can get ready for that gravity match. McBride: Oh sh*t! I forgot about that! Alex'll have to control the amount of gravity for Alena in that room! At least he better get up! (Alena kneels down next to LD, and Samantha does the same with DAND. LD is covered in bandages soaking with blood, but Alena manages to help him up. He then walks away and waves to the crowd. A few paramedics are not far behind. DAND is also helped up, and Samantha carries him towards his bike. DAND gives a thumbs up, and the crowd cheers. DAND then drives away with the crowd screaming for both wrestlers.) Colburn: Well, at least they're alive. McBride: Yeah, but Alex has another match to go to tonight. Colburn: That won't be for a while though, and I think the next match will be just as entertaining.
