Wednesday, August 2nd 2000: Wednesday Night Death from Above Card #15 - Match #3 Quinn Vs. Condom Man Author: Frank Landry (Chrono) [Commissioner] Match: Parkinglot match. Rules: Standard. Titles: None. Commentators: Iaian McBride, James Colburn. _______________________________________________________________ McBride: Our next match will be a streetfight between Quinn and C-Man. Colburn: Alright. Finally, another chance to see some more blood. McBride: I’ll just ignore that. The commissioner has just finished telling me that he is done setting up the parkinglot for the streetfight. Colburn: Lets turn on the cameras and see what it looks like. (The viewscreen turns on and you can see the parkinglot. It is filled with chains, broken bottles, baseball bats, sledgehammers, and boards. Quinn and C-Man walk into the parkinglot from opposite sides. They look around for each other.) McBride: I think I will turn on the mics now. Quinn: Not bad. I guess Chrono wants me to finish him off quickly. C-Man: Alright, where is he? I will take him apart. (Quinn and C-man both pick up baseball bats. They get to the middle of the parkinglot and they stare straight at each other. C-Man charges at Quinn and begins to swing the bat. Quinn parries his attack and follow up by hitting C-Man’s hand which makes C-Man drop the bat. Quinn then follows up by jabbing the bat into C-Man’s gut then swinging it up like a golf club, hitting C-Man’s face. When C-Man fell onto the floor you could hear the sound of glass breaking. C-Man yells in pain.) McBride: Did he just fall onto glass? Colburn: I hope so cause that means they will be blood. (C-Man gets up and there is glass shards sticking in his back. Blood starts coming out.) Coburn: Yes, blood. I’m loving this already. (Quinn drops the bat and picks up a chain. Quinn swings the chain and hits C-Man in the face. C-Man’s nose starts bleeding and Quinn swings the whip again hitting C-Man in the leg. C-Man going down while Quinn continues to hit him with the chain. Quinn drops the chain and starts looking for something.) McBride: I wonder what he’s looking for. Colburn: Well I hope it’s something that will cause a lot of blood. (Quinn comes back with a sledgehammer. C-Man manages to get up only just to get hit in the knee with the sledgehammer. C-Man is on the ground bleeding like crazy. C-Man starts reaching for something underneath a car as Quinn is picking up the chain again. Quinn turn around to face C-Man and C-Man chucks a bottle hitting Quinn in the face.) McBride: That looked like it hurt. Colburn: I hope there is blood. (Quinn’s face has glass shards stuck in his face with blood coming out of the wounds. Quinn doesn’t look happy, he picks up a bottle as C-Man struggles to get up. Quinn chucks the bottle at C-Man hitting him in the face. C-Man goes down and knocked out. Quinn starts picking up boards and setting them up for something.) McBride: Well this match is over. That was really quick. Colburn: Well it was C-Man he was facing and C-Man isn’t very strong. McBride: But what in the world is Quinn doing? Colburn: It looks like he is making some type of ramp with all those boards. (Quinn gets into a car and starts driving towards the ramp he built. The car flys off the ramp, flips over 180 degrees, and lands ontop of C-Man’s lower half of his body. C-Man yells in pain.) McBride: Did you see the air time he got? Colburn: That was cool. (The paramedic come in and they treat Quinn’s face and they pull C-Man out from under the car. They take C-Man to the ambulance and drive off to the hospital.) Quinn: Well, that was refreshing.
